On 24 September 2026, project management firm PM-Partners hosted PM-Perspectives 2026 at the Establishment Ballroom in Sydney. Almost 200 business, technology and transformation leaders attended an evening on turning AI ambition into measurable outcomes, including the launch of PM-Partners' AI Adoption & ROI Benchmark 2026. To bring the theme to the stage, Rocco joined event MC Christina Arcane.

Sharing the Stage
Christina Arcane is an AI and cyber security educator and was the evening's MC. Writing on LinkedIn the next day, she described sharing the stage with Rocco as "one of the most bizarre and brilliant experiences I've had on stage". She also praised the speakers and the PM-Partners team.
That is exactly the role a humanoid robot plays best alongside a human MC. Rocco doesn't replace the host. He adds a moment the audience remembers and gives the MC something to play off.
Passing a Document on Stage
Rocco also had a hands-on role in the program. In this clip from the evening, he passes a document to a presenter on stage, and the room cheers.
Moments like this are simple to plan and land well: the presenter has a clear cue, the audience sees the robot do something useful, and the hand-over makes a natural photo.
PM-Partners shared its own recap of the night:
Why It Worked for an AI Evening
- The robot matched the topic. At an evening about practical AI, a working humanoid robot on stage made the subject tangible.
- The MC stayed in control. Christina ran the program. Rocco's appearance was planned around her cues, with our operator managing the timing and movement.
- It gave the event a story. An MC posting about the experience the next day is the kind of word of mouth organisers want.
Planning a Robot Stage Moment
- Agree the cue with your MC: a walk-on, a welcome, an introduction, a handover to the first speaker, or passing a document, award or prop to a presenter.
- Share the run sheet so the operator knows exactly when Rocco is on.
- Keep it short and sharp. A well-timed stage moment beats a long segment.
- Check the stage access with the venue: steps, ramps and space beside the lectern.
